This is a limited edition Reese’s candy wrapper from a couple years ago for a very interesting flavor. It was filled with banana creme along with the peanut butter as a tribute to Elvis and the famous fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches he enjoyed so much. These aren’t quite as good as the sandwich, but they were pretty tasty.

Forget the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. The highest honor is not only having a candy bar named for you but that it be a re-creation of your favorite sandwich. Elvis wasn’t the first to smash bananas and peanut butter together and throw it in the deep fry but he was certainly who made it popular. I wish you could still buy these today.
