This is one of those classic “Golden Throats – Vol. 1″ moments. Telly taking himself all sharp and serious and orating through one of the most soppy pop songs ever written. Almost too much to take.
Who loves you, Telly? Allee Willis! Because Telly thought he was gorgeous and sexy and sold that as aggressively as a pickle vendor on Delancey Street in the 1940s.
I aim to please. Actually, Telly aims to please! This is one of the most fabulously frightening videos I have ever seen. Deep, really deep.

Bubbie’s Pickles are THE JOINT! I LOVE them and they’re the only brand I buy. I love the mini pickles better than the regular sized ones. Try those for sure. Bubbies are the only jars I use for water when I paint because the labels make me so happy.
I am too embarrassed here. I don’t know what Bubbie’s Pickles are! Did he eat them in Kojak or something. Was he the spokesman for the brand?
No, Bubbies Pickles is a current brand that I and, apparently, windupkitty love. She went off on a Bubbies thing after I said “Telly thought he was gorgeous and sexy and sold that as aggressively as a pickle vendor on Delancey Street in the 1940s.” and you said “I forgot, I love pickles too!”
Oh, I am really not always this daff! lol I will have to investigate Bubbies pickles. I remember us talking about pickles but not Bubbies….It’s been a long day and I just got thru a basket of kitch items given to me today. I’m worn out…..
