Don’t you love those red boots? |

Visiting family in CT. last week was none-stop fun, along with pulling out old pictures. This 1952 photo is everything all wrapped into one shot. ’50’s toys, ’50’s funiture, ’50’s clothing. Little Diane is completely dressed western from her hat down to her boots… and she continues to dress with style today!

Absolutely perfect photo in every way shape and form. Little Diane’s outfit is impeccable. Just looking at the leather of the red boots I know that if that were me at that age which is how old I think I was in 1952 I would have been so excited to have those boots on I could feel them at every moment. I’m still that way with shoes. If I have a great pair on – and I’m a shoe freak so I’m in this state most of the time- I’m aware of what my feet feel like in them all the time.
I love the wheel on the tricycle. I loved that there is a baby asleep in the doll buggy. Tinsel on the tree goes without saying. The matching blond furniture is perfect and I love the tiny doll/toy that’s tucked into the cubbyhole.
The phones calls just went out to visit “little Diane” here at the Kitschenette. Now they will all become regular visitors too.
Even today, Diane loves to wear fun hats!
Well, I hope to see her in her current hats here!
Holy cow, Diane sure is working that cow girl outfit! I love this photo so much, it really makes me smile.
It makes us smile too. She actually learn to ride but not dressed like this I’m sure.
