The Coconut Head has a hole by his mouth, I bought the Cigar… No it’s not Cuban.

We’ve had it for years, we bought it in Northern Michigan.

This is FANTASTIC! I’m a connoisseur of coconut heads and this one is a serious beauty, from finding a long coconut to what looks like authentic palm hair. Not to mention that it looks exactly like Castro. Kudos on the cigar which although not Cuban looks similar to the texture of his coconut skin and therefore could have been placed there by the artist.

Congratulations well deserved! This is a coconut head far above other coconut heads. I also love when people are from Detroit. If my brain developed this way to appreciate this stuff because of the environment I was brought up in I have great hopes for artifacts owned by folks who are still there!

Wow. This is brilliant, both in concept and execution. I’m curious– where in Michigan did you find it? At a garage sale, flea market, thrift shop, art fair, store or other?
