ah yes, this brings back memories…i loved the s&h redemption center when i was a kid…and i really loved gluing the stamps in the book…
Yes! Getting the stamps from the market and rushing home to stick them in the books was great fun. Things used to be so simple back then.
yep, now they’re called “greenpoints” and it’s all digital – http://www.greenpoints.com/account/act_default.asp – no way that could be fun for the kids…
Mark, thanks for passing along the site S&H catalog. A friend is sitting on dozens of books that her mom accumulated back to the 50’s sitting in a forgotten shoe box. When I saw the posts, we dug them out. Unfortunately, her Top Value stamps are now void as of Jan 2010.
