The Heidelberg Project
One of the jewels of Detroit, The Heidelberg Project is everything the city stands for, especially vis-a-vis its citizens. Although Tyree Guyton, whose creation Heidelberg is, was in Switzerland the day we were there, me, Laura Grover and Mark Blackwell, both of whom work with me, spent the day with Jenenne Whitfield and Sharon Luckerman, Heidelberg's most gracious head honchos.
I'm ecstatic that I was honored with my own dot on Heidelberg St., directly in front of the house Tyree was born in and the house that became his first art piece on the street.
