    I would only KILLLLL have one of those cars. OMG, are they cute!! The one that zooms by at :34 is the greatest looking thing on wheels I’ve ever seen.

    Thank God I do own one of the cars in there, the little Mini, so I don’t have to be 100% jealous. Although mine isn’t vintage. But it’s the same color except reversed; my roof is red and body white. I’ve souped mine up with so much chrome it’s a Mini of an entirely different caliber then your average Mini. It’s also the only one I’ve ever seen with two-tone leather seats and bright red and white at that. But back to the matters at hand, those unbelievably cute little cars in this movie. It’s not the clip that I’m a rewarding the museum’s highest honor, the Classicque D’ Camembert, to but the vehicles themselves.

    I take that back. I just looked at the clip again and I’m definitely awarding the Camembert to everything. The footage is such a mix of 60s and 70s looking color and then there’s that black and white footage thrown in. I wonder if the whole film was hacked together from outside footage as that black and white stuff makes no sense stuck in there? And boy, I would kill to see that Paul Anka cameo.

    It totally bummed me out that the dvd can’t be played here in the U.S. when I looked on Amazon.

    I’m not well versed in how to find foreign DVD’s and figuring out how to play them, but somebody reading this must be.

    This clip deserves an award for “Worst Use of Stock Footage. Ever.”
    In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen black and white stock footage used in a color movie before– a new low! Ed Wood must be rolling around in his grave.

      Ah ha! Then you haven’t seen ‚ÄúThey Saved Hitler’s Brain”, a classic bad film. There was a re-issue of it about 10 years ago that eliminated the black-and-white footage but if you can get ahold of the original there’s all kinds of black and white footage from the Vietnam war to try to explain how someone was obsessed with saving Hitler’s brain. I haven’t seen the film in at least 20 years so I’m a little cloudy on the details. The newer version with the footage cut out isn’t nearly as good as in bad as the original.

    There’s nothing better on a cold winter day than a big teaming bowl of chili con carne with a corn dog stuck in it.

    I just ordered this video with English subtitles from Amazon UK. Now all I have to do is find a DVD player to play it!
