What’s scary about this is that I had some friends that “don’t get” films like “Valley of the Dolls” and I had to explain this painting to them. “Boobies, boobies, boobies”!

You don’t need to have friends who don’t get films like “Valley of the Dolls”!! Liking that is a must. Even more important: must get “Beyond The Valley of the Dolls”.

Love this painting Denny!! Seriously, Beyond The Valley of the Dolls is a total kitsch classic. I love that movie so much. I watch it once a year. It’s my Wizard of Oz.

They are happy pills. The blue, octagon shaped pill looks like she is having a moment.
Lisa – Most of the times I search through my films to watch something special when I paint. I almost always watch “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls”. What’s funny is that my Mother bought the “Valley of the Dolls” anniversary edition for me.

hahaha wow, you are SO baked! :D I LOVE this painting and of course, that you’ve contributed to the immortalization of a very important film…I actually knew someone years ago who had a cat named Boobies, just so he could yell “boobies, boobies, boobies” when he was calling it! :D
