kookykrafts

Born in Dallas Texas. Have lived in Phoenix, Arizona since 1986. Involved with the downtown Phoenix arts community for many years and founded the first Art Walk in 1989, called Art Detour, and the parent non-profit that still produces that event, Artlink, Inc. Have fixed up numerous vintage buildings along with partner Tony Zahn along historic Grand Avenue corridor and rent primarily to artists and small, independent businesses. Currently run an eclectic shop called Kooky Krafts in the heart of the edgy Grand Avenue Arts and Small Business district. The shop specializes in one-of-a-kind handmade crafts by local artists and crafters. Also hard to find and close out vintage supplies. I think of myself as Martha Stewart on acid; and the items I carry in my shop a new brand of "City Folkart".
