Seeing horror legend Vincent Price on the box so pleased with his apple heads makes this priceless to me. This was out in the 70s at the time of this fad.

What Allee has to say about this:
I was never into horror films so I never collected any of that kind of memorabilia. But this set appeals to me because they hopped on the immensely popular ’70’s craze of sculpting heads out of apples and watching them shrivel until they turn into ugly cauliflower headed people. With that organic connection to crazy scientists I’m in favor of these two genres of pop culture combining for this kit

I’m especially intrigued by the writing in the bottom left corner. So is the deal that you stick the apple inside that thing that looks like an inverted pint of ice cream, attach it to a table light (how exactly is that done?) and then the apple stays in there frying in the heat until your house smells so bad you throw the whole thing out? Have you ever used this?
