Whenever I’m in #Detroit there’s only one place to find me on Monday nights – at the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club! Way way way near the top of the mountain of my favorite things to do when I’m home in the Motor City, it’s held at Noni’s Sherwood Grille, in proximity of the neighborhood I grew up in. As many artists as humanly possible pack into the place, each having two minutes to show off, talk about, and sell up to two pieces of art. I had the pleasure of moderating the entire evening a couple weeks ago and had a ball as I always do. This truly is one of the most happening evenings in Detroit. As always, thank you, Alex May, for originally insisting I check it out and turning me onto Henry Harper, one of the group’s two founders and who I always enjoy sitting next to so much! #DetroitFineArtsBreakfastClub
